Gamma Phi Beta - University of Oklahoma

L ast spring, a group of Gamma Phi Beta women, touched by the service and dedication of Stefanie Brickman '89, joined forces to create an endowment in her honor. Created through the Gamma Phi Beta Foundation, it will be used to sponsor collegians' attendance to leadership development opportunities throughout the sorority (REAL Leadership Experience, Convention, Recruitment Summit, etc.). As many of you know, Stefanie is a longtime Psi Chapter and international Gamma Phi Beta volunteer. She has touched the lives of many collegians and is best known for her bright smile, great stories, and problem-solving attitude. The creators of this endowment are no exception. Women from all walks of life came together to create a legacy honoring Stefanie's heart for service and development. We were even able to surprise her with this announcement at Convention in Chicago this summer! Psi Chapter was thrilled to be able to donate funds from its previous year's operating surplus to support this initiative and help the endowment be fully funded in just one year. With the collective efforts of women nationwide, we raised over $30,000! Although the endowment will take a few years to become fully vested, we cannot wait to see the impact this leadership endowment will have throughout the sorority. PRESERVING AN EXTRAORDINARY LEGACY Psi Chapter's New Endowment PSI SOONERS GAMMA PHI BETA AT THE UNIVERSITY OF OKLAHOMA • WINTER 2025 T he Psi Sooner Tailgate is nearing the end of its third season at Oklahoma football games. With seven games in 2024, there have been more game hosts and attendees than ever! Thanks to the Affiliated House Corporation Board and other donors listed below, we are looking forward to the 2025 season with home games against Illinois State, Michigan, Auburn, Mississippi, Missouri, and LSU.
