Over 22 years and counting! Thanks for
stepping into the role of president, Mike!
Welcome back to the Alumni Association, Scott!
R
ecently, brother Marty Deering '89 made
the difficult decision to step down from the
Gamma Upsilon Alumni Corporation so he could
focus on personal matters. Brother Deering has
served on the board since 2011, first as events
chairman, then as secretary, and finally becoming
president of the Alumni Corporation in 2015,
where he has served for the past nine years.
His dedication and service to the fraternity will
certainly be missed.
To fill the president's vacant position, the board
nominated and elected Mike Scheve '02 to this
role. Mike has served on the board for the past
22 years and knows the workings of the board
quite well. To backfill his role of treasurer, Scott
Nekolny '93 is returning to the board after a
more than two-decade hiatus!

oin your fellow brothers and their families at our annual Chicago Wolves game! We will be hosting a party
deck at the game on Sunday, February 23, 2025. Gates open at 2 p.m., and you are welcome to join us
right away on the deck. Puck drop is at 3 p.m.

Your ticket includes access to the party deck, snacks, non-alcoholic beverages,
a food buffet, and a Chicago Wolves souvenir. Any tickets ordered will be
available for you at the suite entrance on the north side of the building off Lunt
Avnuee, so don't go to will call for tickets unless you are a late order and are
instructed to do so.
