In my role as Academic Excellence Director I gained a new perspective on the members of the
Delta Sigma chapter. This position has been a tremendous blessing, allowing me to
encourage my sisters to strive for academic and professional success. I am proud to share
that we placed in the Top 5 of Panhellenic grades in both semesters! I continued the
recognition of a member at every chapter meeting, making it more personalized and
tailored to the individual. Additionally, I introduced new stickers for members to display on
their laptops, showcasing their achievements. One of the highlights of the year was the "Key
Sisters" event, where PC '24 members were paired with PC '22 members who share similar
academic paths. This initiative fostered collaboration and success in the classroom while
providing older members the opportunity to mentor new members in selecting classes and
navigating college. We also partnered with Beta Upsilon Chi, a fraternity on campus, for a
study night. This event offered a productive environment for networking and studying,
complete with plenty of snacks! This year of service has been incredibly rewarding, and I am
so grateful for the opportunity to have served in this capacity. I firmly believe that the Delta
Sigma chapter is on a strong academic trajectory, and I look forward to seeing its continued
success in the future.
