Major congratulations to all the brothers who made this achievement possible! Alumni Thanks Of course, brotherhood doesn't end after graduation. Many of our alumni continue to embody the spirit of Phi Delta Theta in their professional and personal lives. From leading successful businesses to contributing to non-profits, our alumni network is thriving. Recently, Bill Powell '57 gifted $50,000 to the Lund Scholarship Fund managed by DePauw. Bill has been a great supporter for some time, as he also gave a few years ago to the House Corporation campaign for house improvement. Tom Bridges '82 has also given generously to the fund. If you need instructions on how to make this gift directly to DePauw for the exclusive benefit of DePauw Phi Delts, please let me know! (Continued on page 2) Making Great Strides News from the House Corporation I t's been some time since many of you roamed DePauw campus with Fraternity pride. Whether you were initiated decades ago or are a more recent alumnus, the bonds we share are timeless. Wherever I go and speak about DePauw Phi Delts, the first question alumni always have is, "How are the boys doing?" As I hope you'll see from the items below, the answer is, "Really well!" • The Chapter has recently been awarded by Headquarters in Oxford, Ohio, the Silver Star for Chapter management, and the men were recognized for both academic and risk management excellence. • Phi Delt was the largest Fraternity on campus last semester! • Ben Schroeder '28 was recognized as an outstanding freshman and Ian Bucher '27 earned the same as a sophomore by the International Fraternity. • The officers were cited for excellence in reporting, a testament to their dedication to being in good standing with GHQ.
