Jacob Blattel '28 "I joined because Theta Chi supports the United Service Organizations. I come from a family of veterans, and they all supported me and the people in this country. They did their job; now it's my turn to support them." Manasyu Chaudhari '28 "I chose to join Theta Chi for its commitment to brotherhood, leadership, and personal growth, providing a supportive community that inspires me to be my best self." Caden Heidemann '28 "I joined because I wanted something more than just a fraternity. The guys at Theta Chi are more than just friends for me; they're brothers. I am constantly pushed to grow and become a better man and a better person all around. I can always count on them every step of the way." Vinay Jami '28 "I chose to join because of its appeal to me as a dry house, knowing that it prioritizes the very degree we came to college for. I also joined for the welcoming brotherhood and connections it provides. Finally, I appreciated the idea of becoming a resolute man— something I can carry with me for the rest of my life." A s we all know, identifying and recruiting prospective new members is a 24/7 process. The strongest chapters at ISU have an equally strong internal network of alumni assisting in this process. Much has changed in how fraternities recruit prospective new members since most of you resided at 219 Ash Avenue. Given the restrictions in cancelling university housing contracts, most incoming freshmen now live in the residence halls. Our chapter offers all the ingredients for an excellent Greek and college experience: a strong brotherhood, resources for high academic success, and an exemplary reputation on campus. However, the competition to sign outstanding prospective new members is now more intense than ever. Realizing for some this will be an easier task than others, we passionately request each of you to help identify any current university students or high school seniors who plan to attend Iowa State University next fall and possess the strong values of our chapter. Please contact Cale Engebretson '25 at crenge9@iastate.edu or (515) 868-5473 with your recruitment recommendations, including names and contact information.
