PHI DELTA THETA 3 L ast academic year, we placed second in fraternities with 125 or more members and a final GPA of 3.29. We had 84 people on the dean's list, representing 42% of our chapter. As always, we have had many Phis leading across campus. These are just a few examples of what Phi Delts are involved in: → Shay Butler '25 has served the IFC as risk manager for the past year, leading the fraternities across campus to be safer and smarter. → I am currently serving as the director of service for Greek Week, where I will facilitate a canned food drive, monetary donations, and service events across Columbia. → Blake Bautista '26 serves as vice president of the True Tiger Network for the Alumni Association Student Board. Phi Delt Philanthropy We hosted our annual Powderpuff Tournament with 14 teams in the spring. We invited all sororities to participate in the tournament, which helped us raise around $21,000 throughout the school year. Phi Delt participated in many sororities' philanthropic events through basketball games, softball tournaments, and other events. We also consistently had people go to the Columbia Food Bank with the help of Community Service Chairman Ben Peter '26. Province Retreat In the spring, Missouri Alpha had the honor of hosting the Phi Delta Theta Province Retreat. The event was called the Border War- and throughout the day, we played sports and yard games where the winning teams earned points for the trophy. This event allowed the Missouri and Kansas chapters to connect and build a bond as brothers. We also had a review of the bond in the chapter room from a priest who showed us a deeper interpretation of the bond that was written so long ago. Getting to host the Province Retreat was a great way to share our chapter facilities with other brothers.
