Berry '82 We Appreciate Your Support A lot has been going on recently at Florida Alpha, and we're thrilled to share the latest from our Chapter. Carson White '26 and Cole Bennett '27 worked tirelessly all summer to gain the most applications (around 300) of any BMS cycle for Florida Alpha. These men also hosted an incredible Balanced Man Scholarship Banquet, featuring Kansas Beta alumnus Greg Pestinger, Kansas State University '86 as our keynote speaker. His insights and experiences inspired us all, reminding us of the reality of society and how Sigma Phi Epsilon can positively shape young men's lives. This fall, we welcomed 39 new brothers into our Chapter. It is always a pleasure to see our brotherhood grow, and I am confident that these new members will continue to uphold our standard here at Florida Alpha. These brothers are joining a Chapter that has had the highest GPA out of all IFC fraternities for 14 out of the past 17 semesters and, most recently, achieved a 3.6 GPA in the spring 2024 semester. Looking ahead, we are striving for our eighth- consecutive IFC Chapter of the Year Award, a testament to the hard work and dedication of every member. Additionally, we are excited to enhance our philanthropic efforts through our annual Surf Frenzy philanthropy. This year, we are introducing the Queen of Hearts competition to engage more individuals and raise awareness for the Florida Diabetes Camp. As we approach our centennial celebration, I am filled with pride to see our Chapter not only expanding but also reaching new heights while remaining grounded in our core values of Virtue, Diligence, and Brotherly Love. The upcoming celebration will be a remarkable opportunity to bring everyone together in honor of this milestone. Thank you all for your continued dedication and support. Together, we are building a legacy that will last for generations to come.
