S
igma Alpha Epsilon has a storied tradition dating back to 1917. Over 2,000
initiated men have cultivated lasting friendships and made priceless memories
through SAE.
While there may be some differences in today's campus experience compared to
the one you knew, all SAE alumni can be proud of the legacy we have created.
The chapter and our house play a significant role in the personal and professional
development of members, and this growth is crucial in today's competitive world.
Now more than ever, fraternities play an important role in supporting our members'
sense of belonging, engaging them in a community and developing their leadership
skills and character.
The undergraduate chapter remains
strong, promoting the highest standards of
friendship, scholarship, and service based
upon the ideals set forth by our founders.
To maintain our competitive presence,
we must renovate and expand our chapter
house. With your help, we can reach our
goal and give these deserving young men
a facility that will support their efforts to
be true gentlemen.
"I have been attending Wyoming Alpha alumni meetings with my dad, Bernard Phelan '71, since high school and knew in those
meetings that I wanted to be a Wyoming Alpha. I always admired and respected their lifelong commitment to the ideals of the
Fraternity. Since joining, SAE has given me leadership, brotherhood, and the opportunity to continue this legacy. Serving as chapter
advisor for over 15 years, I see firsthand the impact that Wyoming Alpha continues to have on young men. While the experience may
look different, men need Wyoming Alpha. The Fraternity is strong, but we need to do something to ensure we remain strong for future
generations, including my son Will. This campaign is worthy of your investment as it positions us in the best place for the future."
