Delta Chi at Kansas State University | Delta Chi at Kansas State University | Fall 2024 Fall 2024 T H E S C I M I TA R T H E S C I M I TA R A s another semester starts in Manhattan, I'm excited to share some updates from our chapter. I've had the pleasure of serving as president the last nine months, and we have a lot to be excited about! Our Chapter currently has more than 75 brothers, and the growth we've seen over the last few years puts us in the top 10 in size on campus. We are reaching new heights and pushing each other to be our best. ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE This spring, our chapter finished with a GPA of 3.51, which ranked fourth out of 22 fraternities at K-State. This was also our 11th-straight semester with a GPA above the IFC average. Many chapters can have a good year or two, but for us to maintain it over five years shows that we are able to recruit some of the best and brightest in Manhattan. We also had 33 brothers on the dean's list with a 3.75 or higher, and I am so proud of the work they're putting in. 63RD CONVENTION In late July, I flew with three brothers to Miami, Florida, for our 63rd International Convention. We got to spend the weekend with various K-State alumni and Delta Chi brothers from across the country and won various awards highlighting our successes in recruitment and events over the last year. We hope to see you in Indianapolis in 2026! A STRONG START THIS FALL Already this fall we have volunteered with various charities in town and held our annual Beach Bash Sand Volleyball tournament for the new sorority women. I'm excited about what the next few months have in store for our Chapter. We have philanthropy events planned with other Greek houses, Homecoming at the end of October, and initiation in early November. That coupled with Saturday home games, it doesn't get much better than Manhattan in the fall. I'm excited about what the next few months have in store for our chapter. If you're in town for Homecoming, a football game, or just stopping by, please reach out. We'd love to show you around Moro or grab a bite to eat.
