CHI OMEGA 3 ENSURING THE SUSTAINABILITY (Continued from page 1) Our youngest Chi Omega sisters shared with alumnae that not even one new recruit stated concerns about not having a house this year, instead sharing tremendous excitement about the restoration. How Can You Help? Big Yellow has warmly welcomed thousands of women whose friendships embrace us through years far beyond our collegiate experiences. Whether you graduated in 1948 or 2023, we are honored you are an Epsilon Beta alumna—a UNC Chi Omega who will always have a historic property in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, to call home. We are asking our sisters to support the important work of ensuring the sustainability of the gorgeous house we all own with our Epsilon Beta membership. Please consider giving back to your home through the Century of Sisterhood campaign to ensure our house and sisterhood continue to thrive. Remember, a gift of any size will make a difference, and you can spread your donation over five years. Please consider the greatest gift you can give to honor or memorialize a special mom, grandmother, daughter, or sister. This restoration is the most important project we could possibly do for our Chi Omega Chapter's legacy at UNC. See You at the Barbecue? The Epsilon Beta Annual Barbecue Lunch will be held on Saturday, November 16, with the Tar Heels playing the Demon Deacons that afternoon in Kenan Stadium. "I joined a group of hard-working, dedicated, and intelligent girls who made my time in Chapel Hill memorable and fun," she shared. "I am proud to be part of such an amazing group of women." Meg has fond memories of living in the Chapter House (the yellow barn), meeting new women and reconnecting with friends during recruitment, Bid Days, and fun dinners at the house with friends. "My time as a Chi O enabled me to meet lifelong friends. I value those friendships I formed during my years at Chapel Hill." Meg's experience in Epsilon Beta inspired her to support the Century of Sisterhood campaign; she hopes future sisters can enjoy a similar experience. "I am involved in the campaign so I can support a wonderful organization that socially and emotionally supported me during my time at Chapel Hill," Meg shared. "I think anyone who enjoyed a positive experience as a Chi O should support the campaign in any way that they are able." Meg's family resides in Charleston, South Carolina, and many of their family friends are her Chi O sisters. Meg's sister, Lauren Anderson Bean '07, is also a member of Epsilon Beta! In addition to being with her family, Meg enjoys playing tennis and bridge as well as traveling.
