OUR OREGON BETA TRADITION
S
ince 1926, Oregon Beta has provided a premier experience
at the University of Oregon. We pride ourselves on
recruiting and building a Balanced Man. Our cardinal
principles—virtue, diligence, and brotherly love—have created
a group of men committed to one another, the University
of Oregon, and communities around the world. Sigma Phi
Epsilon develops its members to gain the skills of leadership,
teamwork, and character. These traits have been integral to our
college experiences and helped make us the men we are.
While the experience today might look different from our
time in the Chapter, the principles of SigEp remain true.
Young men still need brotherhood, support, and a values-
based education that Oregon Beta can provide.
As alumni of Oregon Beta, we have a responsibility to
provide future generations with the same opportunity
to grow as transformational leaders. We have a unique
opportunity to start fresh to revisit our core values and to
create an environment where the next generation of men
can learn to lead with purpose and fulfill their potential.
We ask you to remember those we follow and to join your
alumni brothers in an effort we believe will secure this
legacy for years to come.
