igma Chapter was well-represented at
the 81st Gamma Phi Beta Interna onal
Conven on in Chicago. On June 27-29, AHC
members Elizabeth McKemey Bickley '82,
Nancy Hammel Kuehler, Beta Upsilon '75,
Elizabeth Smith Scheib '78, and Cindy Emig
Penzler '78 a ended along with Advisor
Sally Ramseyer Beck '74.
Five Sigma collegians, Kate Himmelberg '21,
Sophia Hudson '21, Leah Holton '22,
Charlo e Kerr '23, and Maren Rapp '23,
were delighted to experience their first
conven on. They all celebrated Gamma
Phi's 150th Anniversary, a ended business
mee ngs and various events, and enjoyed
sisterhood with hundreds of Gamma Phis
from across the country.
Sigma was honored to receive three
awards: Affiliated House Corpora on
Overall Excellence Award, Affiliated House
Corpora on/Collegian Chapter Rela ons
Excellence Award, and the Chapter
Academic Excellence Award.
