SUMMER REDECORATIONS This summer, House Corporation has been very busy preparing the Tri Delta house for fall. • On the main floor, the library sofa and chairs, two chairs in the piano room, and four chairs in the Hook room were reupholstered in fashionable, durable fabric. • The dining room floors have been professionally polished and look lovely. • New outdoor cushions and a few replacement chairs have arrived for our covered patio sofas and chairs. All these updates create a comfortable ambiance for both collegian and alumnae members! The entire second and third floors have also been freshly painted (bedrooms, hallways, common areas, bathrooms, and laundry rooms). Luckily, a leaking pipe in one of the bathrooms was caught while painting. It has been replaced and the ceiling repaired before further damage was done. ALUMNAE ARTISTS We continue to acquire original artwork from our DDD alumnae to curate an ongoing special collection. • Susan Hable '89 (@susanhableart on Instagram) created six original collage artworks which have been framed and now hang in the Hook room and TV room. • Reagan Kerth Geschardt '92 (@geschardtart on Instagram) graciously donated one of her original abstract paintings in Tri Delta colors, which now hangs in the back hallway near the guest restrooms. Thank you for your contributions, ladies! DID YOU KNOW? We have been collecting vintage University of Alabama Corolla yearbooks! To date, we have 28 in our collection housed in the TV room bookcase. They have been a welcome addition, and alumnae enjoy looking through them while visiting campus. HOUSE CALLS We welcomed the pledge class of 1984 for a house tour during their reunion weekend this summer, and a fun time was had by all! We encourage alumnae to stop by and visit the house when they are in Tuscaloosa. Roll Tide!
