On June 15, a celebration of life was held at the restaurant Barware, along with a White Rose Ceremony. The Celebration of Life had many people present whom Don had impacted at some point in his life. There were several speakers at the event, which included Don's son and daughter, former professional and military colleagues, and Gordan Brigman '70, who was not just a fellow brother but a lifelong friend going back to the days before college. The Sigma Chi White Rose Ceremony is a way for Sigs to publicly honor their brothers on the way to the Chapter Eternal. At Don's ceremony, there were around 15 Sigma Chis present. Don's Sigma Chi Big Brother, Bunky Wingfield '68, officiated the ceremony. While everyone watched, Don was recognized as each Sigma Chi placed a white rose next to Don's photo. Throughout Don's life, he made many contributions to Epsilon Kappa Chapter. He started as chapter editor as an active, and after he retired from FedEx, he joined the Sigma Chi Housing Group Inc., where he served as President for 10 years. He then took the role of Vice President, an office he was still holding when he passed. Don was an integral part of why the Epsilon Kappa Housing Group won the Outstanding Housing Corporation award numerous times. He would gather the information needed and submit the paperwork to Sigma Chi Headquarters. Don always ensured everything was being done to uphold the standard of excellence at our chapter. Don Wilson—"All honor to his name." In Hoc, Neal Carrigan '07
