FARMHOUSE FRATERNITY Nebraska Chapter / University of Nebraska-Lincoln www.nebraskafarmhouse.org Fall 2024 T his summer, the FarmHouse Conclave was hosted in Omaha. Brothers Scott Drvol '80 and Kevin Warneke '82 were key players in planning and running the event. We hosted the Thursday night opening dinner, and all food was provided by Nebraska Chapter alumni from around the state. We had a great turnout at the dinner, with about 100 attendees. Alumni traveled from near and far to be there, and everyone enjoyed their time together. Throughout the weekend, many Nebraska Chapter alumni were recognized, including: · Scott Drvol '80 – Hutchison Award for Service · Ryan Downs '88 – Robert L. Off Servant Leadership Award · Steve Grasz '81 – Elected to FH International Executive Board (read more on page 3!) · Greg Ibach '81 – Continues as a director on the IEB · Eric Thurber '89 – One of the keynote speakers and chairman of the Foundation Board of Trustees · Nate Eckloff '75 and Charlie Oellermann '77 – On the Foundation Board of Trustees · Taylor Yaw '09 – Host (as lead veterinarian) and keynote speaker for the trip to the Omaha Zoo (Voted top zoo in the U.S.) · The late Stephen England '66 – Honored during the Thursday event for his contributions to FarmHouse and a donation to support Conclave We are proud of these brothers, who remain committed to FarmHouse Fraternity and continue to be Builders of Men. Thank you for your service to our brotherhood! In other news, we are pleased to share that Nebraska Chapter has been doing great! They recently welcomed a strong new member class filled with legacies, they maintain the highest GPA of all UNL fraternities, and they are committed to serving the community. Check out the chapter's stats on page 2 to learn more about their achievements. We hope you'll come see the success of Nebraska Chapter for yourself this year. We welcome you to stop by, get to know the brothers, and visit the house. We would be happy to have you! There will be opportunities for alumni to come back to the house, including Homecoming and other football games. Join us for some fun and football and connect with your brothers. We couldn't be prouder of Nebraska Chapter and its accomplishments. As we look to the future, the Association has conducted a study to test three initiatives we believe will take our fraternity to the next level. More details coming soon!
