We kicked off our semester by holding our formal, Talisman Rose, at the Heartwood Resort in Trego, Wisconsin. It was a spectacular and thoroughly enjoyable weekend. Continuing the momentum, we held a successful bingo and bake sale philanthropy event, raising nearly $1,000. The funds were used to create backpacks full of school supplies and hygiene products for Foster Adopt Minnesota, which will be given to girls in the foster care program. On April 13, we hosted the National Meeting at the Whole Music Club at Coffman Memorial Union on the Minneapolis campus. Over a dozen Alpha actives from the Kansas chapter attended, along with Alpha and Beta alums. We enjoyed an array of activities from visiting Mall of America and Can Can Wonderland to getting ice cream and hanging out on campus. One of our standout events this year was the Pot of Gold kickball game with Lambda Delta Phi sorority. The pinnacle of our semester, however, was undoubtedly Minnesota Royal. With many of our members in executive positions and working behind the scenes, we took part in everything from quiz bowls to the Milk Run and Ag Olympics. Our exceptional performance in all the activities, especially showmanship, led us to victory, earning us the title of champion organization and a coveted trophy, which now proudly sits on our mantle. Another highlight was rising seniors Sophie Schneblin and Makalya Moline being named officers for the CFANS Undergraduate Student Board executive team. The board has undergone significant changes, and we're thrilled our members will play key roles. To wrap up the semester, we celebrated the graduation of 10 members, who are now embarking on their next adventures. We bid a short-term farewell to nine members who took part in a CFANS study abroad program in Greece, which focused on food, agriculture, and gastronomy. Our members are now excelling in their internships and summer jobs across the United States. We are incredibly grateful for another great semester and want to thank our alumnae, professors, and other supporters who made this spring a memorable one!
