During philanthropy week, we raised more than $25,000 for Coyote Hill Foster Care Services in Columbia. ATΩ also teamed up with Delta Tau Delta to take on Beta Theta Pi and Phi Delta Theta in the first-ever Mizzou Lacrosse Cup. ATΩ and Delt were victorious, and the game raised nearly $10,000 for the Day Dreams Foundation. The annual BeStrong29 Puck Challenge was a huge success. ATΩ defeated Beta Theta Pi in a 5-2 thriller. The game raised $15,000 for the BeStrong29 Foundation (run by Mick Deaver '19), which helps those suffering from paralysis and spinal cord injuries. The ATΩ Signature Event Golf Tournament in April raised more than $10,000 for the MISS Foundation, which provides care and support to families who have lost a loved one. Academic Accomplishments Gamma Rho again improved the Chapter GPA to 3.18 this spring. Our Fall New Member Academic Scholarship Award was split five ways with Ben Boland '23, Konnor Canova '23, Nick Hibbard '23, Tate Scanlon '23, and Luke Walters '23 achieving 4.0s. Our Spring New Member Academic Scholarship Award winner was Cole Taddei '24. We will continue this positive trend next semester. Brotherhood Events In the fall, we celebrated our 99th cornjigger! Events included an East Campus concert featuring country artist Sequoia Newland, a Halloween social with other Greek affiliates, and a fantastic night at the Lake Ozark Speedway to watch the demolition derby! President Jack Scanlon '21 and Historian Sean Hicks '21 bravely rode in two ATΩ-sponsored derby cars. Brothers also enjoyed the DK Classic, held in memory of Drew King '19, which was won again by Michael Shanahan '20 and Cole Verhulst '21. In the spring, we attended a Mizzou baseball game to watch the Tigers defeat the No. 4 ranked Florida Gators in a 4-3 nailbiter. Other events included bowling and paintball. Community Outreach This year for Mizzou Greek Week, we were paired with Alpha Phi to raise money for multiple beneficiaries. Overall, the Mizzou Greek community donated 2,605 units of blood, collected 51,674 pounds of canned food, and raised more than $83,000. ATΩ and Alpha Phi also placed first in the Fling Dance competition! Thank you for reading and for your support as alumni. We appreciate everything you do for our ATΩ brotherhood at Mizzou!
