The major renovation of our beloved Chapter House has begun, and we need all alumni to step forward and be the driving force behind the transformation that lies ahead. The time for passive observation has passed; now is the time to actively participate and support a campaign that will shape the future of Delta Upsilon at the University of Illinois. The decision to renovate our current house was not made lightly. It was born out of a desire to enhance the experience of future generations of Illinois Chapter men, ensuring they have access to facilities and resources that align with our values and standards. This monumental undertaking signifies not just the physical rehabilitation of a building but the revitalization of our brotherhood's identity and legacy. As the renovation commences, we are faced with the critical task of determining the budget for the updates and amenities we want to include in the new Chapter House. This is where your support becomes essential! By supporting the Honoring the Past, Building for the Next Century campaign, you determine the extent to which we can compete with other fraternities and campus housing options while preserving our traditions. The success of this campaign hinges on the collective generosity of alumni. To date, 202 generous donors have helped us raise more than $3.3 million toward our $4 million goal. This is a wonderful achievement, but it's imperative we reach the finish line. Whether you are an established donor or have never contributed before, your support is needed to ensure that we can create a Chapter House that reflects Delta Upsilon's character.
