ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE We welcomed a class of 30 men who were initiated on January 19. The new member class had an outstanding fall, with 11 earning a GPA of 4.0 and a chapter average of 3.55. Gamma Tau Chapter landed at the top of the Hill for academics for the fall. We earned a GPA of 3.43, which was the top in IFC. Meanwhile, we had 17 members achieve a 4.0. Academics were a focal point for the executive board; Director of Academic Affairs Grant Strong '25 played a crucial role in the chapter's success. At the SFL awards banquet, we received a Merit Award for our academic achievement. SUPPORTING THE COMMUNITY For our philanthropy efforts, we hosted a blood drive for our members and the community. We also organized two events with Natural Ties, an organization that connects KU students to members of the Lawrence community who have developmental disabilities. We went on to host Christmas- and March Madness-themed events at the Shelter. We are looking forward to another semester and a new class of young men. We will continue to strive for greatness as we improve the Shelter and extend Gamma Tau's legacy. RAH DELT, and ROCK CHALK!
