The Glazebrook Gazette B eta Iota's academic achievements continue with a spring chapter GPA of 3.55, which (once again) surpasses the all-men's average of 3.48. We thank and congratulate each brother for their hard work and would like to shout out Scholarship Chairman Naveen Gulati '23, who encourages us all by sharing the "Grade of the Week" at every weekly meeting. The chapter raised over $2,000 for Make-A-Wish Foundation this spring. Philanthropy Chairman Ali Komilian '23 led the way by hosting events including philanthropy mixers and our March Madness watch party. Beta Iota always strives to support other Georgia Tech houses in their community service and philanthropy efforts. For example, Chris Keating '23 competed in Alpha Phi's annual King of Hearts event, raising $700 in support of women's heart health. Social events included the Nashville Formal (always a favorite), Sugar Mountain Ski Weekend, Date Night, and a waterslide day. Big thanks to all the alumni who came out for the spring game tailgate; see you soon for football season! Whether on campus or in the professional world, ATΩ brothers are establishing themselves as future leaders. Many members are serving across Tech in the Consulting Club, Startup Exchange, CEE, IFC, and more. Our brothers are also landing internships with major players like Goldman Sachs, Amazon, Walmart, Delta, and more (see the logos to the right!). We can't wait to see where they go next! Lastly, to honor our late brother Jakob Martin '21, Beta Iota is proudly rolling out the Jakob Martin Memorial Scholarship. Sophomore brothers with at least one semester of membership and a minimum 3.3 GPA will be eligible for this $2,000 award. Applicants must submit a résumé along with a 500-word essay on their personal commitment to service and the Georgia Tech community. To learn more, please contact Andrew Jacon '15 at bot.gtato@gmail.com.
