2 ALUMNAE ENGAGEMENT There are many ways for alumnae to support the chapter through time, talent, and treasure. Some of these opportunities are longer term while others require only a few hours—a variety of opportunities are available to fit your time and interests! Sigma Kappa Foundation – Beta Sigma Scholarship Endowment One $2,500 scholarship is given to a member each spring through a competitive application process conducted by SK Foundation. (Tax-deductible as defined by IRS regulations for charitable contributions.) To make your donation, scan the QR code or visit sigmakappa.org/foundation/giving and scroll to scholarship box to select "Beta Sigma Scholarship" on the contribution form, or mail donations to SK Foundation, 695 Pro-Med Lane, Suite 300, Carmel, IN 46032. Social Event Chaperone Required for Barn Dance, Formal Dances. Need three to five per event. Contact Mady Enos (see above) Recruitment Letters from Alumnae Write about Sigma Kappa memories and what the chapter means to you for collegians to read during recruitment. Room Checks Each semester (June/July and December) Contact Gina Sweet Burtness '83 at jgburtness@gmail.com. More than 20 alumnae serve on the Advisory Board and Corporation Board to support the chapter in various ways. Additionally, a dozen more have volunteered for activities in the past couple years. We are also fortunate to have several alumnae from other chapters who volunteer for Beta Sigma!
