Page 2 PROMOTING ACADEMIC PROGRESS THROUGH SLC We are thrilled to announce that our chapter has been officially accredited as a SigEp Learning Community. This prestigious recognition underscores our commitment to fostering an environment that prioritizes academic excellence and personal development. In our quest to enhance the academic support structure, we have made substantial improvements to the chapter house through the SLC program. A dedicated study space has been developed, equipped with new tables, chairs, a whiteboard, and a projector. This space has become a hub of scholarly activity, hosting weekly study nights that have been met with great attendance, facilitating both academic collaboration and success. PHILANTHROPY EFFORTS Philanthropy has been a major focus for us this year, thanks to the tremendous dedication of our VP Philanthropy Donnie Raymond '25. We hosted multiple charity casino nights and a charity concert featuring a band including Leo Jacoby '25 and Caleb Liu '25. In collaboration with campus organizations like Challah for Hunger, we have raised over $3,500 for the local Ronald McDonald House. These events not only serve the community but also strengthen our bonds with other groups and the broader Stanford family. BUILDING OUR BONDS Our social calendar has been equally bustling with memorable events. This winter, members enjoyed a cabin trip to Tahoe, which provided a wonderful opportunity for bonding and relaxation. We also hosted SigEpalooza, a campus-wide music festival that featured student bands and offered free food, celebrating the vibrant culture and talents within Stanford. CHAPTER GROWTH Recruitment has seen unprecedented success, culminating a few weeks ago in what has been our best recruitment period yet. Innovative events like an at-home driving range and a Fruit Ninja game in our backyard captivated potential new members, leading to the addition of 28 exceptional new brothers to our chapter, including one varsity baseball player, four varsity volleyball and two varsity basketball players. As we look forward to another year of growth and service, we remain committed to living up to the ideals of our fraternity and positively impacting our community.
