Our journey began with a cumulative GPA of 3.16 for the Fall trimester, climbing to 3.19 for the Winter trimester. Notably, 7 brothers achieved a perfect 4.0 GPA in the Fall, with 11 more reaching the milestone in the Winter. Our progress suggests we're on track to exceed our goal of a chapter cumulative GPA of 3.25 in the Spring. Max Wilking — the Scholarship Chair— has worked alongside select Board of Trustees members on a task force to optimize our study spaces. The Academic Task Force has identified areas for enhancement, resulting in practical solutions such as laptop docking stations in study rooms, foldable desks in each sleeping room, and revamp- ing a multipurpose room into a versatile conference space, among several other improve- ments. Looking forward to the 2024-2025 school year, I am looking forward to see how the new changes benefit the chapter and how they can help improve our overall GPA. With an academically outstanding and geographically diverse group of new initiates who recently joined the journey, I am confident that the young men of this fraternity and the incoming new members in the Fall can stay on the track to surpass our goal and regain our status as one of the, if not the top, academic fraternity on campus. Coupled with so many other things we are doing well that you will get a taste of in this issue of Tau Talk, I am incredi- bly proud to be an ATO and excited to see what the future holds! - Braden Blackburn '25 President Chapter Highlight: Academics Back Left-to-Right: Gary Groudsky Ron Farrell Logan Faulkenberg Tim Swicord Tommaso Calviello Middle Left-to-Right: Max Wilking Matteo Calviello Alec Barlow Kayden Pierre Ryan "Nellie" Nelson Front Left-to-Right: DJ Liveris Braden Blackburn Jack Martin Josh Pearson (Not Pictured)
