D ue to your genoristy over the last nine years, the balance in our Family of Endowed Scholarship Funds* has grown significantly. We have now received the first half of the 1% Pickens match and will receive the balance in December. The endowmnet is in good shape by any metric. As our House Corporation and Chapter advisory committee has so passionately pointed out, our undergraduate Chapter is OSU's best. Based on my fraternal travels, I would add that it's the best in ΣX. Completeing the challenge to get the construction for a new home funded is huge, but so was building our scholarship eddowment. We've seen its impact, and I believe the impact of building a new home away from home will be just as impactful. It will leverage everything the Chapter has put in place over the years. We're blessed to have worthy Brothers who made significent contributions to the endowment, only to support the new home at much higher levels of commitment. That's the challenge they've put before us. We need to respond. I've made a pledge, my single largest pledge ever; one that'll hurt a bit to fulfill. I know the impact ΣX has had on my life and want to do my part to make sure we remain the best of the best in future generations. I ask that you join me in answering the challenge of our lead doners by giving at a level that hurts... just a bit. Now's a great time to be a Gamma Delta Sig. In hoc, Ken Klein '65 Order of Constantine Significant Sig *The Scholarship Endowment will be appropiately recognized in our Friendship, Justice, and Learning Center.
