G amma Delta Chapter is proud to share the amazing progress we have made in the past year and overall. A FIRST-TIME ACHIEVEMENT! Recently, Gamma Delta brought home our first-ever Dean Troxel Award! It is presented to the most outstanding Fraternity on campus We can't wait to bring it home again in the future. ACADEMICS AND PHILANTHROPY Brothers boasted an overall GPA of 3.46, placing us fourth amongst Fraternities on campus. This GPA soars above OSU's all-men's average of 3.14. While this success is one to be proud of, we continue to place an emphasis on academic excellence. Philanthropy has been a massive bright spot for the Chapter. This year, the philanthropy team led by James Lang '25 and Westin Nelson '25 set a lofty goal of $50,000. Due to countless hours of effort from the Chapter and gracious donations from countless family, friends, alumni, the sororities that participated in our annual Derby, Gamma Delta was proud to raise a chapter record of $75,000 for the Huntsman Cancer Institute. FRATERNAL CONNECTIONS Gamma Delta was proud to announce the growth of the Chapter by 40 new members, including both the fall and spring pledge classes. Each new brother has added an important dynamic to the Chapter. We have already begun recruitment efforts for the fall 2024 pledge class, led by Recruitment Chairmen Sam Bearden '26. YOUR ENGAGEMENT MATTERS Continuous support from our parents and alumni is the cornerstone of our recent successes. In the fall, we celebrated a spectacular Dad's Day annual golf tournament, and our members eagerly looked forward to Mom's Weekend in the spring. We have enjoyed consistent alumni formal dinners and several recruitment events. The men of Gamma Delta cannot thank these people enough for putting us in positions to learn and grow as undergraduates. Gamma Delta is proud of successes that have been gracing the Chapter because of several men's hard work and talent that we can all celebrate. With the end spring and a new term approaching in the fall, we will continue to work hard to represent ourselves and the larger Fraternity.
