I attended one event and immediately experienced the obvious 'work hard, play hard' mindset of the brotherhood. All in all, Sigma Chi transforms men into leaders and is the ultimate pipeline to obtaining your full potential." –Evan Beacher '27 "My brother, Andrew '24, made strong friendships through Sigma Chi. The fraternity values drew me even closer to joining. Since my initiation, I have gained life lessons and an incredible support group of brothers." –Alex Hudak '27 "The first time I came to Sigma Chi, I felt like the brothers truly wanted to get to know me and why I wanted to be in Greek life. The members really care about who gets initiated and how they can make their fraternity a better place." –Matt Weisensel '26 A s of this spring, Zeta Psi has 131 undergraduate members. Recruitment Chairmen Logan Rieder '26 and Adam Dumford '26 and Magister Jack Troy '25 did amazing jobs planning and executing recruitment. We initiated 15 new members and anticipate a large fall class with the new chapter house available for summer recruitment. Sigma Chi holds a 3.46 GPA, an improvement that now ranks us second among all 21 IFC fraternities. This semester, we placed a heavy emphasis on building our relationships with other fraternities and sororities through social events. Led by Social Chairman Nic Bryson '25 and Campus Relations Chairman Liam Kelley '26, we hosted mixers with Chi Omega, Pi Beta Phi, Tri Delta, and Kappa Alpha Theta. With fraternities, we held joint events with Pi Kappa Alpha, Sigma Alpha Epsilon, and Beta Theta Pi. Kappa Kappa Gamma accepted our Homecoming invitation, and we are excited for a week full of activities with them in the fall. We had an amazing Parents' Weekend, planned by our historian, Cole Kocher '26. That Friday night, Fundraising Chairman Logan Rieder led a casino night that raised over $5,000 toward Huntsman Cancer Institute; this brought our fundraising total for the school year above $20,000. On Saturday night, we held our dinner and presentation at the Newport Aquarium. After dinner, we explored the aquarium with drinks and desserts. It's been an incredible year, and we look forward to a stronger future in our new home. As always, thank you to all the alumni who laid this crucial foundation for us.
