Y
ear after year, Eta Chapter continues
to recruit the best Ole Miss has to
offer. Last October, we initiated another
incredible group of young men to carry on
the traditions of Sigma Chi.
HONORING BROTHERS
A new tradition, created and spearheaded by
Major Geoffrey Yoste '88, was the Michael
Aulds Model Brother Award, which honors
the memory of our beloved brother who
died from an automobile accident after
his junior year in 2020. The recipient is
awarded a scholarship and a reduction in
spring dues. Congratulations to this year's
model brother, Charlie Kahlstorf '24 of
Athens, Georgia.
The chapter is about to begin work on the
fall 5K benefiting the Thomas Mayo Lab,
Walker Fielder Memorial scholarship, and
Michael Aulds Model Brother Award. It
raised $80,000 in its first year, and we plan
to exceed that this year. Please consider
giving to this worthy and necessary cause.
THANK YOU,
PARENTS CLUB!
As the semester concludes, we extend our
gratitude to Lindsay Dehmer for her outstanding leadership as
head of the Parents Club. Lindsay's efforts made our recent
Parents' Weekends truly special, enhancing the bonds within
our Sigma Chi family.
We are also pleased to introduce Paige Yoste as the new
leader of the Parents Club. With her enthusiasm and fresh
ideas, Paige is set to continue our tradition of engaging and
supportive community events.
Thank you, Lindsay, for your dedication, and welcome, Paige,
to your new role. We look forward to the continued success of
our chapter with your contributions.
ARE YOU READY TO JUMP IN?
If you have an interest in being a member of the Chapter Advisory
Board or House Corporation Board, please contact me. We are
looking for nominees as we plan our next meeting date.
