3 T his fall, the chapter did an another awesome job during recruitment. With 55 new candidates, we were ready to hit the ground running, starting with exchanges with lovely Sigma Kappa and Kappa Delta ladies. Aer that, the pledge class of 2023 raised $2,000 at our annual St. Jude's Car Wash. It was great to see brothers continuing traditions. Brothers then came together to donate toys to Louisiana Methodist Children's Home for our annual Christmas philanthropy. It was a fantastic way to start a long quarter! In the new year, Lt. Commander Josh Whitton HZ1469 and I took the annual trip to Roanoke, Virginia, for Sigma Nu's College of Chapters. We learned about successfully leading and delegating our chapter along with the rich history of Sigma Nu. I highly recommend going for any who have not! A couple weeks later, a group of our candidates become active and took officer positions. We are excited to get all new brothers involved and can't wait to see what they'll bring to the table!
