GAMMA PHI BETA AT THE UNIVERSITY OF ALABAMA • SPRING 2024
Thank you to everyone who joined us!
W
e hope our spring newsle er finds you well and with fond
memories of our recent 35th anniversary weekend! If you
couldn't a end, we missed you and hope you can join us on the
Quad for Homecoming on October 26—more details are included
in this newsle er.
The Saturday fes vi es kicked off with an assortment of pop-up shops
including local favorite, Swag, who brought many of their popular
Gamma Phi and Alabama designs. We were lucky to have two Epsilon
Lambda alumnae come with their small businesses: Emily Dunkel
'14 with Dunkel Designs and Jess Smith '15 with Refuge Bou que.
Permanent bracelets by Link x Lou were also a huge hit! Collegians and
execu ve council members led house tours, allowing us to admire house
improvements and, for some, see the house for the first me.
Saturday night, we headed to the Embassy Suites for drinks, dinner,
and lots of dancing. ZAP photographers caught all our best angles, and
our DJ with RTR Pro Entertainment played our favorite '90s and 2000s
throwbacks (plus, Alabama classic "Dixieland Delight" to close out the
night). One highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the throwback
pictures submi ed by many of you—some favorites are included here.
Sunday morning, we had brunch with the collegians before heading
home. Upper Crust, the house's food service provider, treated us to
chicken and waffles and an awesome carved watermelon.
We can't thank everyone enough for contribu ng to the success
of our anniversary weekend! Your presence made it truly special,
and we can't wait to see you all at Homecoming on October 26.
