DELTA CHI NEWS PAGE 2 Delta Tau Delta members gather with our Varsity Review pairing, the women of Delta Delta Delta. W e have had a great start to spring. The new executive team has settled in and begun working diligently. Our executives traveled down to Norman for Divisionals on February 24, and Delta Chi brought home some hardware. We won the Hugh Shields Award (Top 10 Delt chapter), the Court of Honor Award (Top 20 chapter), Outstanding Chapter President (Chester Helmberger '24), and Outstanding Chapter Advisor (Logan Holden '14). We are extremely proud of these awards and look forward to achieving this again next year! RECENT EVENTS On January 24, we paired with Oklahoma Blood Institute to host a drive at the Shelter. We had 28 donations during this event and raised $280 for JDRF, also helping members log 42 service hours. From March 5-9, we paired with Delta Delta Delta to put on an amazing Varsity Review show. We won the award for the Most Comedic Show and received great reviews on how we performed and sang. We are looking forward to next year. On March 23, we held the 75th anniversary of Founder's Day. After the golf tournament (read more about it on page 1), we gave tours of the Shelter before the formal banquet, which was amazing. Thank you to the alumni who attended and met the undergraduates. We look forward to connecting more in the future! CAMPUS ENGAGEMENT Delts have become more involved in recognizable campus groups. We were able to initiate four more members into Order of Omega. This organization prides itself on having the top 5% of Greek students as members. Also, three members were accepted into Homecoming steering for next fall. As I write this, Greek Discovery Day is just ahead on April 6. We are excited to meet the candidates for the next pledge class and to show off our amazing facility. We have seven brothers who are planning to graduate in May and take their next step in life. For next fall, we are paired with Delta Delta Delta for Homecoming and are eager to put out another amazing dec!
