SUPPORTING KAPPA KAPPA JUST GOT EASIER! Introducing a New Way to Pay Dues the lyre letter XI CHAPTER OF ALPHA CHI OMEGA | UNIVERSITY OF NEBRASKA-LINCOLN | SPRING 2024 L ast fall, we welcomed our members home to a beautifully renovated third-floor bathroom, first-floor living room, and dining room area. Later this winter, the exterior will receive tuckpointing on the chimney and southwest corner. Not a fun project but definitely an important one if we want to keep out unwanted water and friends from nature. With these smaller updates underfoot, we are now ready to begin one of our largest projects in recent years without a capital campaign. To stay competitive with other UNL sorority chapters and new collegiate apartment housing options near campus, our second-floor bathroom must receive a full makeover. With four toilets, five showers, eight sinks, and wall-to-wall tile, this project will be quite an endeavor. When our members return to campus this fall, the bathroom will boast all-new cabinetry, storage, quartz countertops, light fixtures, toilets, shower and bathroom partitions as well as tile throughout. House Corporation Board will fund this project through a portion of our lease payment collected from the chapter and with alumnae donations we have received over the last Kappa Kappa is excited to announce that Headquarters has partnered our alumnae chapters with a new banking group.
