Madelynne Engle Helgeson '62 returned to
Missouri after 38 years in California to be
closer to family. She is building a new art studio
at PeaceTree Farms in Eolia, Mo. This organic
farm and event site has been in her family for
over 40 years. She is grateful that many friends
are stopping over to visit on their way through

Barbara Pritchard Baker '64 lives in Rio
Verde, Ariz., but spends half the year in
Greenwich, Conn. She serves on the Board of
Friendship Among Women, The Foundation
of Rio Verde, and Alessio's Gladhouse.
She still has a small consulting company,
WentzMiller Global Services LLC. She travels
often following her husband's death in 2022,
including trips to Peru, Japan, and Poland.

ALUMNAE UPDATE
IN MEMORIAM
Darlene Brink Roland '56 passed
away peacefully on March 11. She
graduated from Brentwood High
School and went on to Mizzou,
where she was a cheerleader for
basketball and football. Darlene's late
husband, Charles "Chuck" Roland
III, was a member of Sigma Alpha
Epsilon at Mizzou. Darlene served
as a class leader during Delta Xi's
capital campaign for the addition and
remodeling of the Chapter House.
In April 2015, she reunited with her
pledge sisters and other Tri Deltas at
the 100th anniversary of Delta Xi.
She also hosted the Luncheon Group
last September at the MAC-WEST
and has always generously donated
to the Luncheon Group funds. The
group plans to donate to St. Jude in
Darlene's memory. If you wish to
