alumni.oxepsilon.org I am happy to relay that operations at Epsilon Chapter are running smoothly. We had yet another successful year in 2023, despite a brief stint on social prohibition; the Brothers promptly resolved this and are taking it as a learning experience. e Chapter is now back on good terms with the school and the Interfraternity Council. Among the honors received this year, the Chapter Excellence Award stands as a testament to our dedication and commitment to our International Fraternity. Additionally, the school awarded us the Outstanding Alumni Programming Award, a testament to the outstanding efforts of Ariel Velasquez '24 and James Melvin '85. ese awards not only celebrate our accomplishments but also inspire us to continue striving for excellence in our endeavors. Last academic year, 20 new members were welcomed by then- Recruitment Chairmen Ian Khung '23 and Christian Gallardo '23 and educated by Marshal ijs Seppenwolde '23 and Chaplain Allan Anderson '25. is helped to grow the Chapter, as we graduated 13 seniors in 2023. e class of 2023 was an exceptional one, and they helped the Chapter survive through the tough COVID-19 years. eir experience helped to preserve the many traditions of this Chapter, despite many of the campus traditions and ideals failing to survive. anks to the valiant efforts of our Recruitment Chairmen, Allan Anderson '25 and Benjamin Smola '25, eta Chi recruited 29 new pledges last fall. is is the largest class since the class of 1985, marking a great recovery for the Chapter since the pandemic challenges. e pledges are currently being educated by Marshal Joseph Kuchenmeister '24 and Chaplain Daniel Ouellette '24. We hope to initiate all pledges as early as possible so they can attend the 115th Anniversary and celebrated as eta Chi's newest members and fellow brothers. At the end of this academic year, 11 brothers will graduate.. e class of 2024 has played an instrumental role in growing the Chapter back to its pre-COVID size and livelihood! Next year could see the number of active Brothers reach its highest in years. e Chapter has not ceased to impress me this past year. From recruiting such a large class to the awards and achievements that we have received, I am tremendously proud of the Chapter and its efforts as I pass the position of Chapter president to Allan Anderson '25 this spring. I am excited to see what he and the Chapter will accomplish. We look forward to seeing the bright futures ahead of every Epsilon Brother. Fraternally, Ethan Donald Moynihan '24 Chapter President B rothers, 2024 marks the 115th anniversary of Epsilon Chapter. To celebrate, the EBA and active Brothers are hosting a gathering at Union Station in Worcester on March 23.
