SIGMA NU 2 T hat step is the formation of the Alumni Advisory Board (AAB). We need volunteers! Will you be one of those? Immediate importance: Without a complete and functional AAB, the General Fraternity (aka "National") will not support re-colonization. The purpose of the AAB is simple: Provide professional perspective to undergraduate officers. Give feedback on action plans to help create a "culture" for long-term success. Keep the team of alumni up to date on chapter operations. The AAB positions are: AAB Chairman Colony/Chapter Advisor Financial Advisor LEAD* Advisor Social and Risk Reduction Advisor Recruitment Advisor Alumni Relations Advisor Fraternity-wide guidance is available for each of these positions, and Delta Delta colony/chapter-specific guidance will be available for several of these positions. Virtual training will be provided. Travel is not required. Advisory duties can be performed by telephone or video teleconference (we have a Zoom account). Liability insurance coverage will be provided. The time commitment should rarely exceed four hours each month. Additional information will be/has been sent to each Delta Delta alumnus by U.S. mail. In the meantime, if you're interested in more information, please contact Brother Nelson at nelsonnittany@aol.com; (H) (814) 278-8575; or (M) (703) 244-7493. Remember, without an AAB, there will be no Delta Delta collegiate chapter and the chapter house will likely be sold. *The LEAD Program is Sigma Nu Fraternity, Inc.'s membership development program. LEAD is an acronym for Leadership, Ethics, Achievement, and Development. The purpose of LEAD is to develop ethical leaders for society, brothers who will make an impact on their chapter, campus, and community.
