Vickery '63 March 17, 2022 Eugene L. Warren '69 April 20, 2023 GIVING BACK Over the past year, Delta Chi at Alabama has seen immense growth as a Chapter. Throughout the spring, we raised a total of $7,000 for charity, $5,400 of which came from our annual "V for Valentines" event held at Rounders. The rest of our philanthropy funds came from a variety of other enjoyable events, including Ballin' for Bernstein and several cookouts. GETTING INVOLVED We also saw a massive uptick in Chapter involvement across campus. One of our Brothers was inducted into Capstone Men and Women, three of our Members joined the Student Government Association, and two others continued their journey in SGA, as they were promoted to higher positions. WELCOMING NEW BROTHERS We initiated an impressively large pledge class of 57 New Members who all uphold the values and traditions of Delta Chi men. Due to the increased attention given to the academic committee, we also managed to raise our Chapter GPA, which has placed us fifth among all Interfraternity Council Fraternities at Alabama. ESTABLISHING TRADITIONS The benefits of creating a strong academic framework in partnership with What Good Looks Like has given our Chapter many new opportunities to excel as well as increased our recognition on campus. In addition, the current Sergeant- at-Arms has outlined a robust risk management framework with the goal of maintaining accurate records and creating a fairer judicial system. MAKING OURSELVES AT HOME Over the summer, our house underwent a renovation that gave our downstairs a major facelift. We got new flooring throughout the cafeteria, new chairs and tables, and fresh paint for the entire first floor. These renovations have been highly appreciated by the Chapter and make for much more comfortable spaces for our Brotherhood to meet! In the Bond, Brice Ogle '24 Chapter President
