Sigma Alpha Epsilon - Auburn University P.O. Box 442100 Lawrence, KS 66044-2100 Address Service Requested Alpha Mu News e Alabama B rothers, it's time to COME HOME and be a part of The Campaign for Alabama Alpha Mu. We need you! See inside for how you can return to SAE in more ways than one. "B eing in a fraternity, specifically SAE, provided me with lifelong friends and values that have molded me into the person I am today," Eric Hefner '87 said. When Eric looks back on those years, he oen thinks first of living in the chapter house with over 100 friends who had one another's backs. "Many of us pledge brothers still keep up, and you would be surprised how many professional doors are opened through these special relationships." To help future brothers at Auburn enjoy the full chapter house experience, Eric was proud to join the capital campaign board and make a pledge himself. "I lived in the house for almost three years, and I know what these young men are missing without that opportunity." Eric now has two sons in the Alabama Alpha Mu brotherhood; one got to live in the house as a senior, but the other has not. "So far, my approach has been to remind fellow alumni what a life-changing moment they had in SAE at Auburn," Eric said of his campaign efforts. "ose who agree with me are ready to help immediately." Eric believes that brothers who cherish their memories of coming of age among a special group of like-minded individuals will eagerly contribute what they can to this important project. Eric has also been a House Corporation Board member for several years, which has shown him firsthand how well our young brothers are flourishing despite Alabama Alpha Mu's housing struggles. He always tries to visit the chapter house for home football games and catch up with alumni. In his personal and professional life, Eric is most thankful for his wonderful wife and four beautiful children, all of whom have grown into fine adults.
