3 DTD THE CORDELT B eta Omicron Chapter has done an outstanding job at further strengthening our brotherhood this fall. We are very pleased to have pledged two new talented young men, thanks to Recruitment Chairman Noah Diamond '25. Throughout the new member process, these spectacular brothers will be expected to learn about and demonstrate our core principles of Truth, Courage, Faith, and Power. In terms of achievements, Beta Omicron was selected to help induct new members of Gamma Omicron Chapter at Syracuse University on October 27. Additionally, our chapter has been chosen to participate in a Recruitment Pilot Program from the Arch Chapter that focuses on recruitment, development, and retention of members. Our chapter will receive active coaching before, during, and after the recruitment process in the spring. Beta Omicron heavily prioritizes academic success for all brothers. According to Sorority and Fraternity Life's GPA report for spring 2023, our chapter maintained a 3.53 cumulative GPA, which ranks us eighth in the IFC. Our director of academic affairs, Kenneth Cula '24, has done a fantastic job monitoring brothers' academic performance and never allowing brothers to fall behind in their classes. Regarding service, Philanthropy Chairman Jonathan Stolow '24 is organizing a speaker event with Gift of Life, an organization that supports patients with blood cancer. He has also been looking into having brothers volunteer for a book sale at the Tompkins County Public Library and assist with parents' check-in for Family Weekend. Alumni Chairman Subharghya Das '24 performed during Diya Jale, the Society for India's biggest music and dance festival of the year. Additionally, Noah Diamond '25 recently performed with his comedy sketch group. Once again, the brotherhood is very grateful for the unwavering support from our alumni, especially our chapter advisor, Philip Fargo '16. Philip is someone we can always rely on for rituals and other emergencies. It was a pleasure having alumni come up to Ithaca for Homecoming weekend, and we highly encourage alumni to visit the house whenever possible. Huge thanks to everyone who has made immense contributions to our chapter.
