Years of going through the hustle and bustle of life will leave us wanting more. The answer will not be found in going on an extravagant vacation or in purchasing the latest gadget. Jesus made it very clear when he made the statement to his disciples, "It is more blessed to give than to receive." In order to fi nd the secret to living, we must come to the diffi cult conclusion that life is not about us. It is in our nature to think selfi shly. Many times, we judge a situation on how it will affect us and our comfort level. Jesus gave us an example of what it means to live an abundant life when he left the glory of heaven and came to a sin cursed world to live among us. His public ministry was one of caring for others and having compassion for those in need. He taught that serving others is the way to greatness in God's kingdom. We must fi rst allow God to make a difference in our lives through accepting him as our Lord and Savior. Then as we yield to him, life will begin to take on a totally new dimension. We will see life's greater purpose of ministering to those around us. God wants to use us to be a conduit of blessing to those he desires to touch. With every new day will come a new anticipation of what God is going to do with us and through us. Who can you be a channel of God's blessing to today?
