Page 3 D uring the fall 2022 and spring 2023 semesters, Gamma Phi Chapter excelled in service projects, awards, and academics. Members secured top grades in both semesters thanks to collective dedication to excellence. Scholarship Chairmen Stuart Yamashita '24 and Kyle Renton '24 provided crucial guidance for this achievement, though success was a group effort. DEDICATED TO COMMUNITY SERVICE Gamma Phi's devotion to community service was a highlight of the spring semester. With more than 2,150 service hours for the Norman community, members engaged with organizations like the OU Food Pantry, Assistance League, The Big Event, Norman Animal Shelter, and many others. The house also competed in the first-ever OU Food Pantry x OU Football fundraising competition, with 90% chapter participation and a donation of more than 1,900 pounds of food. Our efforts landed us in first place for the competition. EXEMPLARY LEADERSHIP Gamma Phi Chapter brothers have continued embracing their roles as campus leaders and role models. Over the past semester, we have celebrated a few brothers achieving outstanding awards. We are proud of what our brothers have attained and look forward to their future success. At the start of the spring semester, we were happy to initiate pledge class 2022, which consisted of 58 young men. PC22 had 100% of its members make the minimum 2.8 GPA to be initiated – we believe this may be the first time a pledge class has had every member make his grades. These new members have contributed much to our success in such a short amount of time. We look forward to what our brothers have in store for the future. BUILDING THE BROTHERHOOD This summer, Parker Brown '25 led our recruitment team with the help of Blake Barnes '26, Jack Copeland '26, and Blake Yokely '26. These young men devoted countless hours to recruit the next generation that will join this unique brotherhood. They signed 63 pledges at the end of summer to make up our Pledge Class of 2023. We are beyond thankful for the support of our alumni, as much of this would not be possible without the outstanding path you laid before us.
