C. Roger Buckmaster '48 E-424 is legally blind; he can still see colors and shapes but cannot read. His wife, Jill, reads to him, and he enjoys audiobooks as well. Roger and Jill live in Germantown, Tenn., functioning well in an independent living apartment in a great retirement facility. They use rollators to help with walking and balance, and their main exercise is swimming laps three days a week. "We are blessed to have each other after 72 years of marriage." Email: crogerb31@gmail.com Dave Harlow Mills '51 E-501 finally retired from his clinical psychology practice last year—just before his 90th birthday. Sadly, Dave lost his wife in the past year. He lives in Little Deer Isle, Maine, and plans to move to a retirement community in New Hampshire. Email: drdavemills60@gmail.com Dennis Brehm '60 E-694 still does tax work at age 82, mainly for family, friends, and neighbors—all pro-bono! Dennis finally talked his older brother into moving to West Des Moines, where Dennis lives. "We have lived several states away from each other for over 62 years. Now we've tried golf… and have determined that our physical abilities are better suited to fishing!" Email: dennisbrehm@q.com Joe Elstner '62 E-748 live in Wildwood, Mo., where he is still an involved musician. He plays in two rock bands (at age 79!) on keyboards, sings in a quartet, and plays tuba in two brass groups. Email: keyboardguy2020@gmail.com John Lindsey '64 E-820 entered into the civil engineering program at Iowa State in the fall of 1964. After two years, he transferred to the University of Illinois for the music performance program. I taught full time on the violin faculty at Baylor University, the University of Kentucky, and at the State University of New York at Potsdam. In 2009, John received the Distinguished Service Award from SUNY. John lives in Potsdam, N.Y., and his work can be found at violinjohnlindsey.com. Email: lindsejr@gmail.com Brooke Billick '72 E-1091 is semi-retired, remaining actively engaged as an independent securities industry consultant, freelance music photojournalist for americanhighways.org and shutter16.com, and an enthusiastic grandfather of three. Brooke lives in Milwaukee, Wis., and his photography can be viewed on Instagram at @brookebillickphotography.
