E psilon Beta had an exciting 2023 Recruitment this fall, as our chapter's membership honored the century of alumnae who have shared Chi Omega sisterhood. This year's recruitment was the largest group of prospective new members UNC has ever recorded. Greek Life registered 850 fabulous women interested in Carolina's 10 sororities. Chi Omega's preparation for recruitment started last May. Recruitment co- chairmen Sophie Ferris '25 and Ann Dehnert '25 led our chapter through a wonderful week of meeting and greeting. Lots of energy went into an exhilarating Bid Day that celebrated Chi Omega's legacy—a century of enduring friendships. Epsilon Beta's talented art chairman, Clara Pope '24, created colorful, fun banners to welcome new members as they ran to our sorority house on Bid Day. Clara also designed fabulous T-shirts for our membership to wear as they greeted new members. Soft red jerseys with golden, sewn-on Chi Omega letters were gifted to each new member to wear for the celebration. This year, we are proud to announce our Chi Omega Chapter and education chairman, Paige Kenerly '25, welcomed a record-breaking new member class of 65 women. Their lists of accomplishments are vast; but what held steadfast was how well our new members connected with our active membership. Our Chi Omega sorority continues to focus on core values of friendship, service to others, campus involvement, career development, personal integrity, and academic excellence.
