Earlier this year, Redstone
asked our members and the
public to nominate people
whom they believe are
Community Champions,
individuals who are doing
amazing things to help
others in their community.
Redstone received over 100
nominations from all over
the Tennessee Valley and
Middle Tennessee.
Community Champions
is our way of highlighting
Redstone members who live
the credit union philosophy
of "People Helping People."
We will begin looking for
our next set of Community
Champions on February
17, 2024 – National
Random Acts of Kindness
Day. Start thinking now
about whom you want to
nominate. Nominees must
be a Redstone Federal Credit
Union member and live in
Alabama or Tennessee.

LaCurtis "LC" Smith
LC Smith's experience of growing up
without a father led him to become the
founder and director of Real Fathers Making
a Difference, or R. FATHERS M.A.D.
His organization mentors, educates, and
encourages young men who don't have
fathers in their lives.
Linda Kucinskas
Since 2007, Linda Kucinskas has hosted bingo
games for seniors at her own personal expense.
She began in Lawrenceburg, TN, with 31
people and now averages over 80 seniors at
her events in Athens, Ardmore, Pulaski, and
Lawrenceburg. She loves what she does, and it
shows. Attendees come by bus, in church vans,
or on their own, and many people follow her
from location to location.
