Mylikia Franklin
Mylikia has used her love for small
businesses to help her community
by donating her time to host local
events that provide exposure to small
businesses and celebrate black culture.
Mylikia's passion is to promote diversity
and inclusion and to build a community
that is prosperous and supportive for all.
Kelley and Chad Whitworth
After the tragic loss of their full-term
baby boy, Kelley and her husband, Chad,
started the Wells Clayton Whitworth
Memorial Foundation. Named for their
stillborn son, this nonprofit organization
helps pay for funeral expenses and
counseling for grieving families who have
faced a similar loss.
Chase Woods
Chase refused to let his muscular
dystrophy take away his love of
sports. He discovered a passion for
competitive wheelchair basketball
and played for several years. He is
now focused on coaching and giving
others the opportunity to play.
Chase started his nonprofit, Rocket
City Adapted Athletics, as a way
of continuing to do something
he loves while helping others
with disabilities. His nonprofit
helps purchase specially adapted
wheelchairs for those in need and
fields a competitive team.
