We teamed up with Alpha Phi for Greek Week this year, and after strong performances in skit, dance, sports, and philanthropy, earned a second-place finish overall. In addition, we achieved the highest GPA among large fraternities and the second-highest GPA among all fraternities at Mizzou. Supporting Philanthropy To raise money for Phi Delta Theta's Live Like Lou Foundation, which fights the currently incurable ALS, the fraternity held a powderpuff tournament with sororities. Thirteen sororities participated and roughly $2,500 was raised. The fraternity also participated in the Rockin' Against Multiple Sclerosis philanthropy and contributed roughly $2,000 to fighting MS. Recognizing One of Our Own Grant Bertucci '23 was selected to be a part of the Mizzou 39, a distinction awarded to 39 outstanding seniors each year. His involvement in the School of Health Sciences, term as Phi Delt president in 2021-22, and volunteering hours contributed to this accomplishment. Strengthening Connections Lastly, the fraternity hosted various social events with different fraternities and sororities. We enjoyed the opportunities to strengthen our connections with other organizations on campus, and we look forward to furthering that effort this fall. Thank you for your continued support of Missouri Alpha Chapter! Yours in the Bond, Zachary Flower '24 President From left: Derek Emmert '26, Ryan Christopher '23, Ryan Bridwell '24, Brayden Schnurbusch '24, Jack Wruck '23, and Peyton Story '23 participate in the soccer portion of Greek Week at Stankowski Field. We're grateful to all the sororities who participated in our powderpuff tournament. With their help, we were able to donate $2,500 to the Live Like Lou Foundation fighting ALS.
