Joshua Braun and Ty'Kieast Crawford have battled it out for the starting job at right guard. Running backs coach Jimmy Smith oversees the deepest position on the team. Sanders leads the crew that features fellow juniors AJ Green and Dominque Johnson, sophomore Rashod Dubinion and freshman Isaiah Augustave. Arkansas supplemented on defense with portal additions on every level that look to be in position to impact the two deep. Adams is operating what looks like the deepest front four in recent memory. Holdovers like tackles Cam Ball, Eric Gregory and Taurean Carter and ends Landon Jackson, Zach Williams, Jashaud Stewart and Nico Davillier have been supplemented by tackles Tank Booker and Keivie Rose and ends Trajan Jeffcoat and John Morgan. Transfer linebackers Antonio Grier and Jaheim omas look to share duties at the spot with Chris Paul, Jordan Crook and true freshman Brad Spence. Holdover safeties Hudson Clark, Malik Chavis and Jayden Johnson have gotten help with the addition of Al Walcott and a good freshman class. Returning cornerbacks Dwight McGlothern and LaDarrius Bishop and nickel back Jaylen Lewis are competing with transfers Lorando "Snaxx" Johnson, Jaheim Singletary and freshman Jaylon Braxton. On the specialty units, junior kicker Cam Little is on pace to break the school's all-time field goal percentage record, punter Max Fletcher is hoping to have a more consistent year and holder Eli Stein returns for a second year as a starter.
