MU NEWS Χ Ω Mu Chapter of Chi Omega at the University of California, Berkeley Spring 2023 UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN 2023 Senior Send-Off 2023 Senior Send-Off To Our Seniors, From the very first day you stepped into this house, whether that be on Bid Day or after the pandemic stripped this building of the love and laughter that once filled its hallways, you have sculpted these walls into a home and welcomed every new Mu with an open heart. Your dedication to this Chapter did not go unnoticed, and the abundance of knowledge you brought to the executive board and to simple dinner conversations has fueled the fire for generations to come. You are a special group of individuals that brought back the spark of true sisterhood after a unique set of circumstances; we cannot thank you enough. Our Chapter has shared everything from stories of Persephone to bowls of mint chip ice cream to tearful Friday-night movie marathons. Our culture of closeness could not have survived without the trailblazers who showed us what it truly means to love your sisters. From your lineages and the very women you recruited, thank you endlessly for everything you have done and for the marks you have left on our hearts. May you find happiness and success wherever you go, and know that you have all of our support behind you. 2421 Piedmont will always be your home. Love, Mu "I truly don't know where I'd be without the friends I've made in this house. I'm incredibly lucky to be able to say some of my best friends are the same ones I met nearly four years ago, and I'm going to miss the little things the most, like eating dinner together every night. I'm moving to Seattle after graduation to work in the legal field before attending law school!" –Sidney Carrigan '19 "Chi Omega gave me an incredible introduction to college and older members from whom I learned so much. In my time as recruitment chairman, I gained valuable life lessons for navigating the best and worst times. I'm proud to graduate as a Mu alumna! After college, you can find me in the Bay Area as an associate product marketing manager at Google." – Crystal Smith '19 "Being in Chi Omega has helped me grow and mature as a person. Thanks to Chi O, I met some of my best friends and great mentors. After graduation, I will be working in public relations for the San Francisco Police Department." –Sophia Robles-Mendoza '21 Sam Valentine '21, Elisa Salcedo '21, and Mia Villamayor '20.
