SISTERHOOD The newest executive board is thrilled to present that we had the honor of initiating our former house director Casie Kolbeck '23 into the sisterhood. She flew in from Colorado for initiation, and it was truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for all. MEMBERSHIP We currently have 155 members, seven of whom are studying abroad and one who has returned from studying overseas. Our brilliant members are making their mark on campus, in the Netherlands, Italy, Sweden, Norway, Spain, Australia, France, and French Polynesia. RECRUITMENT Our spring continuous open bidding process is in full swing. Recruitment Chairman Layla Nasseri '22 helped us welcome five new members to the chapter, and we are so excited to see her already preparing for the fall. PHILANTHROPY This semester, our philanthropic efforts began with a donut fundraiser on campus, where we raised over $800 for families in need due to the earthquakes in Turkey. Recently, we had a philanthropy-packed week that included a clothing drive, which was established for the first time last year by Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Chairman Kimia Adibi '22. The drive raised $700 and was immediately followed by the pride and joy of Philanthropy Chairman Maiya Masjedi '21 our Kick It With Chi O event. This was certainly a semester that reflected how much our house cares about the community. This has been a wonderful season full of love and laughter, and we can't wait to see what the fall holds for us!
