This was a huge win for our chapter! Since then, we have focused on rebuilding Xi back to its fullest potential. This means working hard on all aspects of the chapter. Holding our members accountable is one step we are taking toward a stronger Xi. Due to COVID-19 and probation, we lost what it means to be active members of the chapter. We struggled with finding a system that keeps our members accountable but isn't extreme to the point that members feel like they have "too much" to do. We have resolved this by creating a new point system that helps members understand what their responsibilities are, whether they need to attend Monday night meetings, a recruitment workshop, ritual, or even sisterhoods! We hope that this system will lead to better turnout at our events and help our members get the fullest Xi Chapter experience. Next, we are implementing programs to help set our women up for success. We have been planning Clifton StrengthsFinder and résumé workshops as well as one where alumnae can come share their careers with us. To strengthen our philanthropic efforts, we have been trying to find new and creative ways to give back. One way we have done so is through an online fundraiser for Willie Desch Shafer '53. Willie played a huge role in our chapter, and even as an alumna, she remained actively involved with Xi. In return for her dedication, we donated all proceeds from our fundraiser to her non-profit organization, "Willie's Underwear Project." This was such a cool opportunity because not only did we try a different way of fundraising, but we were able to give back to someone who gave so much to Xi Chapter. Overall, our biggest focus this year is on our members and giving them the tools they need to be successful. In time, we know we can reach our true full potential. This recognition ceremony took place during a special brunch as part of AXO Father's Weekend on April 22. Various achievements were presented and celebrated, as these women serve as role models for other Alpha Chis. Over 75 women achieved a 3.5 GPA and above, which earned them Alpha Chi Honor Member status. Of these women, 10 achieved a 4.0 GPA for the semester. They understand the hard work and discipline it takes to earn high marks, and they will be able to help their sorority sisters through their leadership and example. *Meg Brady *Hailey Hardin *Ally Heisler *Chloe Liebentritt *Kylie Wisehart ^~Kyla Bronson ^~Anna Dukart ^~Jordan Hedtke ^~Carly Janssen ^~Madelyn Kingsley ^~Sarah Riddell ^~Katherine Schoenfelder ^~Courtney Toner ^~Lauren Vetter ^~Cece Welsh *4.0 Cumulative ^4.0 Semester ~3.5+ Cumulative Most-Improved GPA Freshman: Meg Brady and Chloe Liebentritt Sophomore: Julia Quinn Junior: Alex Boon Senior: Brooke Hanson Celebrating Our Academic Achievements CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR HARD WORK, SISTERS!
