THE RED DOOR p. 2 Many brothers have also joined Student Government Association cabinets, dispersing us across the governing student body board. We have ambassadors throughout the Colleges of Arts and Sciences, Engineering, Nursing, Education as well as the Culverhouse College of Business. Brothers Nico Allen '25, Landon Bostic '25, and Will Guy '25 were selected to be a part of the Culverhouse Investment Management Group. RECEIVING ACCOLADES Several members have received awards and honors here at the Capstone. Brothers Mason Haller, Hughes Thomas '24, and Hunter Wilhelm '24 were invited to Jason's Men's Honor Society. Jason's are comprised of the highest caliber and represent the 40 most influential men on campus due to their leadership, service, and dedication to the betterment of the University. Seven brothers were inducted into the Order of Omega honor society. Brothers Bryce Boyle '24 and Kyler Durrence '24 were inducted into Omicron Delta Kappa, while Hughes Thomas was inducted into the Carl A. Elliott Society. COMMUNITY EFFORTS This past spring, Philanthropy Chairmen Jeremy Van Riper '25 and Max Weibel '26 put together our philanthropy event called Cookout for Kids. Partnered with the Phi Mu sorority, we raised money to support Big Brothers Big Sisters of West Alabama. In addition, several of our brothers participated in the annual Krispy Kreme 5K Challenge that was also partnered with Big Brothers Big Sisters of West Alabama. We also had brothers partnering with the Tuscaloosa community in local efforts to pick up trash in the greater Tuscaloosa area. These community service projects have allowed our brothers to pour back into the community and make an impact while here in Tuscaloosa. STAYING COMPETITIVE Our Chapter has also been able to participate in some awesome intramural sports. This fall, our brothers had an undefeated season in the Intramural Soccer League. This spring, our brothers took home the victory for the Intramural Fraternity Softball League after a championship win. The future for our Chapter is only getting brighter as the years progress. We are thrilled for the future generations of our Chapter as we continue to strive for excellence with our grades, philanthropy, brotherhood, community service, and extracurricular activities. Alabama Beta continues to show and embody the definition of what it means to be a Balanced Man on The University of Alabama's campus.
