A lpha Mu Chapter is proud of our many sisters who go above and beyond in their personal and academic careers. This semester, our Chapter excelled in elections and awards. We received the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Award from the university Panhellenic. Margaret Walker '19 and Morgan Whited '19 earned coveted spots in the University of Mississippi Hall of Fame, which is awarded to 10 seniors annually. Additionally, Margaret Walker, Morgan Whited, Chandler Cohn '19, Mary Claire Ford '19, and Jayanti Shukla '19 received prestigious Taylor Medals for the top one percent of the graduating class. In addition, 17 sisters were chosen for Ole Miss Who's Who for campus contributions: Margaret Walker, Morgan Whited, Chandler Cohn, Catherine "Caki" Field '19, Catherine Smith '19, Mary Kathryn Breard '19, Chamberlyn Grubbs '19, Carson Kuhr '19, Henri Kate Long '19, Lila Osman '19, Macey Ross '20, Janie Watts '19, Sydney Wheeler '19, Emmaline Schild '19, Sadie Smith '19, Taylor Cox '19, and Ally Hopper '19. Newly elected senators Hannah Watts '21, Riley Rushing '22, Eron Hendrix '22, and Rachel York '19 serve the Associated Student Body. Morgan Whited was elected Senior Class President. Alpha Mu won four Homecoming elections: Sadie Smith '19 for Senior Maid and Mary Kathryn Breard '19, Hannah Jenkins '19, and Caki Field for Campus Favorites. The Columns Society inducted Hannah Watts, Annalaura Swinnea '21, and Madeline Mueller '21 as official university hostesses—one of the highest campus honors. Lastly, sisters Annalaura Swinnea, Anna Leigh Montgomery '19, and McKenzie Cox '22 received the Community Service, Unsung Hero, and Emerging Leader Awards, respectively.
